$30 per half hour.
Lesson rates remain fixed for as long as
the student stays in good standing. Please see the bottom of this page to
see what constitutes "good standing".
Various Discounts
(All fees and discounts listed apply to
lessons in trumpet, jazz, composition and coda's finale software.)
Double Lesson Discount: $10
There is a ten dollar discount for students who take
double lessons (hour long lessons). Mr. Lewis strongly
encourages most students to take hour long lessons because of successes of
past students. Those who took double lessons always out performed those
who took half hour lessons.
Weekly Commitment Discount: $5 per week
This discount requires students to commit, in writing,
to weekly lessons at the same time each week. It also requires payment to
be made at the beginning of each month. Failure to pay the month in
advance will result in the forfeit of the Weekly Commitment
Discount.
Non-Prime Time Discount: $5
Students who take lessons between 10:00 AM and 2:00 PM
on weekdays will receive a five dollar discount for the lesson. This is
ideal for students who are home schooled, professional musicians or work a
night shift.
Home School Discount: $5 Per Hour
Students who are home schooled and sign up for an hour
long lesson spot between 10:00 AM and 2:00 PM will receive an additional
five dollar discount.
(Mr. Lewis home schooled his son from K - 7, so he is
very familiar and successful with teaching this kind of student.)
Combining Discounts:
Students who qualify for more than one discount may
combine them.

Good Standing
Students who sign up for lessons with Mr. Lewis all
receive a policy letter and are asked to sign a statement saying they
understand it. Students are considered in "good standing" when
their attendance and payments stay in line with these policies.
